How to read IC Company Files

Each row is one company from an Industry Contents analysis. Funding comes from press releases and news reports, with the source linked. How it works describes the way of working, IC insight gives one finding from our reporting, and the story says what the analysis was about. Statements and results belong to whoever made them and are not independently verified unless the analysis says so. Open the file for the value proposition, the big question, customers, claims and their limits, and what we are watching.

IC Company Files FAQ

Short answers on how the files are built, sourced and kept current.

What are Company Files?

A structured record of companies covered in our analysis. You can compare their businesses across industries and countries and follow links to the full reporting. A file may draw on more than one story, and a story may cover more than one company.

What do the reporting labels mean?

They describe the sources used in our reporting. Interviewed means we spoke to the company. Documents reviewed means we worked from its materials. Public sources means we used published information. These labels describe the reporting approach; they do not verify every claim in a file.

What do the source labels mean?

Each customer, price or result carries a label for where it came from: an IC interview, a company statement, a customer account, a public document or our own analysis. A figure the company gave us is shown as the company’s figure, not as a finding.

How are Company Files updated?

We add and update files as our reporting develops. Where available, a file includes a dated update and its source. Check the linked analysis and dates for context, as company information can change.

Can I cite or reuse Company Files?

Yes, with credit and a link to Industry Contents. To copy, republish or redistribute the dataset, request written permission.

Why is a company missing?

The index covers companies in our analysis, but it may not include every company we have written about. If you think a file is missing or contains an error, contact us.
