Compare the same accepted tasks, check whether balances are shared, and apply AI by Zapier’s current billing rules to migrated workflows. ## Key terms **Pooled credits**: Pooled credits is a usage balance shared by eligible users in a workspace. **Activity**: Activity is a standalone Zapier Agents billing unit, distinct from a Zap task. **Accepted task**: Accepted task is a task result that passes the trial’s stated quality checks. ## Lindy vs Zapier Agents vs Manus, billing models | Comparison point | Lindy | Zapier Agents | Manus | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Billing unit | Active user, plus pooled credits | Agents plan activity allowance; sharing must be verified | Credits per individual plan | | Free tier | $50 in credits for 7 days, no card | 400 activities a month | 300 daily credits, capped at 1,500 a month, 1 task at a time | | Entry paid plan | Team from $29.99 per active user for 3,000 credits; $49.99 buys 5,000 | Pro, $33.33 a month billed annually ($400), up to 1,500 activities | Pro from $20, 4,000 credits | | Price per 1,000 units | About $10 (top ups $10) | About $22 per 1,000 activities | $5 on the $20 and $40 plans | | Extra usage | Top ups, $10 per 1,000 credits | Not stated on the page we read | Higher plan or add on credits | | Monthly allowance rolls over | No. Top up credits last until used. | Not stated | No | | At the limit | Credit actions pause, no overage bill | Not stated | A running task can finish past zero. The table sets out Lindy, Zapier Agents, Manus. ## Team budgets for one, five and ten people For one person, the recorded Manus Pro starting price is $20 a month. Zapier Agents Pro is listed at $33.33 a month on annual billing for 1,500 activities, but Zapier is moving Agents into AI by Zapier. Lindy's pricing page rechecked 25 October 2026 lists $29.99 per active user for 3,000 credits and $49.99 for 5,000. The lower tier is available again in the public listing. Five Lindy users on the entry tier cost $149.95 a month with 15,000 pooled credits; the $49.99 tier costs $249.95 with 25,000. Five recorded Manus Pro plans at $20 cost $100 with separate balances. We cannot price equivalent shared-team access on Zapier Agents Pro, its usage documentation lists agent sharing under Enterprise. Request terms for your intended deployment rather than assuming one Pro plan covers five users. Ten Lindy users on the entry tier cost $299.90 a month with 30,000 pooled credits; the $49.99 tier costs $499.90 with 50,000. Ten recorded Manus Pro plans at $20 cost $200 with separate balances. Zapier team access requires a plan and migration check; $33.33 is not a verified ten-person shared-team budget. ## Paid seats, sharing and the Zapier migration On Lindy, check who counts as an active user, including Slack mentions. On Manus Pro, balances remain individual. For Zapier, distinguish standalone Agents activities from AI by Zapier tasks. Zapier's usage and migration documentation checked 18 October 2026 lists Enterprise sharing and an ongoing migration, with no announced Agents shutdown date. See the [Agents usage rules](https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/26559132765325-How-is-Zapier-Agents-usage-measured) and [migration guide](https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/47402591569805-Migrating-from-Agents-to-AI-by-Zapier). The migration guide was rechecked 25 October 2026. ## Find out how fast real tasks use credits Lindy's credit use varies from 2 to 250 for everyday asks and up to 2,500 for big builds, so the monthly bill follows the type of work. Manus publishes no credit list per task, so a cheaper credit can still lose if your task burns far more of them. Zapier's page separates activities from tasks, so check which meter applies to the work you plan to run. ## Budget for the team you will have Lindy's bill rises with active users and shared credit use. Manus Pro scales through individual subscriptions. Zapier Agents Pro must not be presented as the cheapest shared-team option, collaboration eligibility and the move to AI by Zapier need to be priced first. ## Run the numbers on three workloads Assistant credit budgets depend on task size and the number of retries, not just the subscription’s nominal credit price. Start with one deep work job of 600 credits on Lindy. At $0.01 a credit that costs $6.00. If a similar Manus job needed 6,000 credits, it would cost $30 at $5 per 1,000. Those credit amounts are illustrative. We would run the same task on both tools before using them to estimate your bill. Now scale it to a team. At the $49.99 tier, ten Lindy users who each run 20 deep jobs of 600 credits use 120,000 credits against a 50,000 pool. The 70,000 credit gap costs $700 in top ups, so the month comes to $1,199.90, about $120 a user. Manus tells a different story. One Manus Pro user with 4,000 credits who runs ten tasks at an assumed 500 credits each runs out around the eighth task. The 500 figure is our assumption. ## Dust offers another approach to team assistants Dust builds shared AI assistants for teams and prices per seat in euros. Free gives 500 credits once, Pro costs €30 a month (€24 on annual billing) for 8,000 credits a seat, and Max costs €150 (€120 annually) for 40,000. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Pro and Max seats can draw on a capped workspace overage if an admin allows it, and the page lists US and EU data residency. Set against Lindy's $29.99 for 3,000 credits, Dust Pro works out to about €3.75 per 1,000 credits at the monthly price, though the two credits measure different units of work. ## Shared versus individual credit capacity Five paid users do not necessarily do five times the work. Model light, typical and heavy users separately, then add their units before choosing a plan. For an invented Lindy entry-tier example, five users supply 15,000 pooled credits at $149.95 a month. Four light users consuming 1,000 each and one heavy user consuming 14,000 need 18,000. At the listed $10 per 1,000 top-up rate, the 3,000 gap adds $30, for $179.95. Check higher credit tiers before assuming top-ups are cheapest. On separate individual balances, a light user's spare allowance may not fund a heavy user's work. That can make a lower combined subscription less useful than a shared pool. Ask Manus to price its Team arrangement rather than assuming multiple Pro accounts create one team allowance. ### A migration changes the denominator Zapier's migration guide moves standalone Agents into AI by Zapier. Do not convert an old activity allowance into a task allowance one for one. Rebuild one representative agent, inspect the billed events, and price that design at current task rates. Include any deterministic Zap steps you add around it. ## Cost per accepted assistant task Define success before a trial: a summary with correct sources, a calendar change in the right account, or a CRM update without duplicates. Record units used on failed attempts too. The useful measure is total subscription, extra usage and review cost divided by accepted results. Suppose a hypothetical assistant costs $150 plus three hours of review at $50. With 100 accepted tasks, the total is $3 each. If only 60 pass, it becomes $5. A credit discount does little for a workflow that needs constant repair. ### Start with reversible work Test research and drafts before actions that send or change records. Include an ambiguous request, a stale source, a failed integration and a duplicate trigger. Check that the tool pauses or asks when necessary. Scope permissions, name the reviewer and measure the review burden; access and oversight are part of the product choice. ## Try five real tasks before choosing - Choose five real tasks of different sizes, such as a research summary, an inbox triage and a scheduled report. - Run them on each free tier and record the credits or activities used. - Count everyone who would use the tool, including occasional users. - Multiply by your monthly volume and compare the result with each plan's allowance. ## Get four answers before paying - How many credits or activities does one of our typical tasks use? - What happens when the pool or balance runs out mid month? - Do unused or add on credits expire? - Who counts as a billable user? ## Questions to settle before choosing ### Is Lindy, Zapier Agents or Manus the cheapest? Manus has the lowest recorded individual starting price of these three at $20. That does not prove the lowest cost per completed task. Lindy currently starts at $29.99 per active user, and Zapier's team access and migration terms need confirmation before comparing shared-team budgets. ### Does Lindy charge per user? Yes. The pricing page rechecked 25 October 2026 lists $29.99 per active user for 3,000 credits, pooled across the workspace. The $49.99 tier includes 5,000 credits. ### Does anything stop when credits run out? Lindy pauses the actions that use credits and sends no overage bill. Manus lets a running task finish past zero and blocks new tasks. The Zapier page we read is silent on this. ### How should we compare quotas across assistants? Run the same tasks and record accepted results, units consumed and review time. Check whether balances are individual or shared, who needs a paid seat and what happens at the limit.
